IONext Partner Program for System Integrators and AI Solution Companies
Last updated: · Jaka Wiradisuria, Chief Commercial Officer

The IONext Partner Program helps system integrators and AI solution companies win AI projects in Indonesian banking, state-owned enterprises (BUMN) and government, where clients require data to be processed in Indonesia. The partner keeps the client relationship. IONext supplies GPUs and inference in Jakarta, plus the compliance evidence that tender evaluators ask for.
What is the IONext Partner Program?
The IONext Partner Program is a co-sell arrangement for companies that build AI solutions for clients in regulated sectors. The partner designs and delivers the solution. IONext provides GPU compute, managed inference through an OpenAI-compatible API, and compliance documentation, operated by PT Data Awan Nusantara in Jakarta and billed in Indonesian Rupiah.
The program exists because the first question in many AI RFPs is no longer about the model. It is about where data is processed, who the sub-processors are, and which documents prove it. As of October 2026, Government Regulation (PP) No. 33 of 2026, the implementing regulation of Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection (UU PDP), was enacted on 16 July 2026 and takes effect on 16 January 2027. Procurement and risk teams at banks, BUMN and government agencies have started asking for written answers before a project reaches the POC stage.
Partners who answer with documents rather than promises clear evaluation faster. A summary of what PP 33/2026 means for delivery teams is in the article PP 33/2026 and its impact on system integrator AI projects.
Who is a good fit for the IONext Partner Program?
The strongest fit is a system integrator or AI solution company already running or bidding on AI projects for clients in banking, finance, insurance, BUMN, ministries or regional government. The fit is highest when the project needs GPUs or LLMs and the client requires data to stay in Indonesia.
Typical partner profiles:
- System integrators doing IT modernization that need an AI component inside the proposal.
- AI solution companies with products in document AI and OCR, computer vision for CCTV, Bahasa Indonesia chatbots, or speech-to-text.
- Software houses already using foreign model APIs that now get data residency questions from clients.
- IT consultancies designing architectures for BUMN or government tenders.
The program is a weaker fit when the project needs no GPU, touches no personal or strategic data, or when the client's only criterion is the cheapest compute with no data location requirement.
What do IONext partners get?
IONext partners get four things that usually slow down AI projects in regulated sectors: commercial terms agreed up front, ready-to-use sales material, a compliance evidence pack, and technical support for sizing and POC. The goal is for the partner's team to offer sovereign AI infrastructure without waiting for IONext to attend every meeting.
| Project friction | What IONext provides | Effect for the partner |
|---|---|---|
| Commercial: terms renegotiated on every project | A standard co-sell agreement and partner scheme agreed once at the start | Proposals can be priced without waiting on per-project negotiation |
| Explanation: the partner's sales team is not used to explaining AI infrastructure | Enablement kit: one-pager, service cards, co-sell deck, objection-handling guide | The partner can present to the client without IONext in the room |
| Compliance: the client asks about data location and certification | Sovereignty evidence pack: ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certificate, UU PDP position, Jakarta residency, IDR billing | Due diligence questions are answered with verifiable documents |
| Technical: GPU sizing and architecture are still open | Sizing sessions and POC support from the IONext technical team | The architecture submitted to the client is checked before the tender |
IONext bills in Indonesian Rupiah through an Indonesian legal entity. For partners, infrastructure costs in a multi-year contract do not move with the US dollar exchange rate, which keeps project margins easier to hold.
How does co-selling with IONext work?
Co-selling starts from an opportunity the partner already owns. The partner registers the opportunity, IONext helps with sizing and prepares the compliance evidence, the partner submits the proposal to the client, and then POC and production run on IONext infrastructure in Jakarta. The client relationship stays with the partner from start to finish.

- Intro conversation. The partner describes the project type, the client's sector and its compliance requirements. The client does not have to be named at this stage.
- Co-sell agreement. Signed once and reused for later projects.
- Opportunity registration. The partner registers the opportunity so its position on that project is on record.
- Sizing and architecture. The IONext technical team helps choose between the NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition 96 GB and the NVIDIA L40S 48 GB, and between a dedicated GPU, a GPU virtual machine managed in ORBIT, or managed inference. Hardware details are on the IONext GPUs in Jakarta page.
- Compliance pack for the client. The partner receives documents it can forward to the client's risk, procurement or DPO team.
- POC. The proof of concept runs on the same infrastructure as production, so the answer on data location does not change when the project scales up.
- Production. The service runs and is monitored. Billing, either through the partner or directly to the client, follows the co-sell agreement.
Which compliance questions can IONext help answer?
The questions that come up most in AI RFPs from regulated sectors are where data is processed, whether any data leaves the country, which security certification applies, and which party plays which role in processing personal data. IONext provides document-backed answers for the infrastructure layer. The application layer, lawful basis for processing and data governance remain with the partner and the client.
| RFP question | IONext infrastructure answer (Oct 2026) | Still prepared by partner and client |
|---|---|---|
| Where are data and inference processed? | GPU compute, inference and customer data storage run on infrastructure in Jakarta | Location of other components in the partner's stack (application, monitoring, backup) |
| Is any data transferred abroad? | Open-weight models run on IONext hardware in Jakarta. Inference requests are not forwarded to API providers abroad | Other third-party services used by the partner's solution |
| Which security standard applies? | ISO/IEC 27001:2022 from TÜV NORD Indonesia, registration number 01 07 E 26000410, valid 7 May 2026 to 6 May 2029 | Application security controls and user access |
| Who is the controller and who is the processor? | The client is the controller. IONext acts as processor or sub-processor for the infrastructure layer, depending on the contract structure | Lawful basis, consent, DPIA, full sub-processor list |
| What is the legal entity and how is billing done? | PT Data Awan Nusantara, an Indonesian limited liability company, invoicing in Rupiah with VAT (PPN) | The contract structure between partner and client |
The regulatory picture is still moving. On 8 September 2026, Bisnis.com reported that the PDP Agency (Lembaga PDP) had not yet been established, although it is the body that will issue technical rules, including on cross-border transfer risk assessment. Until those rules exist, processing data in Indonesia reduces the number of questions that have no settled answer. For banking, the financial services authority OJK published its AI governance framework for Indonesian banking (Tata Kelola Kecerdasan Artifisial Perbankan Indonesia) on 29 April 2025, which references UU PDP. For public-scope electronic systems, Government Regulation No. 71 of 2019 requires data management and processing to take place in Indonesia, with limited exceptions.
IONext certificate details and its UU PDP position are on the IONext Security and Compliance page. For architecture patterns, see a RAG architecture that keeps data in Indonesia and using LLMs on customer data under UU PDP.
Where does IONext fit, and where does it not?
IONext is the infrastructure layer: GPUs, inference, storage and a management platform in Jakarta. IONext does not build the client's application, does not replace the partner as the project's delivery lead, and does not make a project UU PDP compliant just because the servers are in Indonesia. Compliance remains a shared responsibility.
Boundaries partners should know from the start:
- Certification is not automatic compliance. ISO/IEC 27001:2022 proves the IONext information security management system. It does not replace a DPIA, a lawful basis for processing, or controls inside the partner's application.
- GPU choice is limited to two types. IONext currently provides the NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition 96 GB and the NVIDIA L40S 48 GB. If a project needs other hardware, IONext says so at the sizing stage, not after the tender.
- Available models are open-weight. Projects that require a specific proprietary model from a foreign provider need a separate assessment.
- Pricing is not published on the site. Quotes are prepared per project after sizing.
What IONext takes seriously is making the infrastructure answers in a partner's proposal provable. The IONA operations assistant and the ORBIT console help partner teams run client environments once a project is live. Frequently asked questions
Do partners have to resell IONext services? Not necessarily. The commercial model, including who invoices the client, is agreed in the co-sell agreement to match how the partner already works with its clients.
Will IONext contact a partner's clients directly? Opportunities registered by a partner stay with that partner. IONext appears in front of the client only when the partner asks, for example for a technical session or security due diligence.
Does using IONext automatically make a project compliant with UU PDP and PP 33/2026? No. Infrastructure in Jakarta and ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification answer part of the questions, mainly on processing location and information security. Lawful basis, consent, DPIA and data governance in the application still need to be prepared by the partner and the client.
